Unlock the distorted Payon Cave, complete the main quest and daily hunts, collect Illusion Stones, craft new equipment, and challenge Angry Moonlight Flower.

Main quest walkthrough

  1. Meet Payon Elder SaniulSpeak with him in Payon at 164, 229 and accept the request.
  2. Find the Young ScholarTravel to Archer Village and speak with the scholar at pay_arche 48, 137. Choose to accompany him.
  3. Visit MuyeonEnter the Payon building at 107, 326, then speak with Muyeon at payon_in03 33, 95. The follow-up conversation sends you to Payon Cave 4.
  4. Unlock the portalInspect the shimmering portal at pay_dun03 140, 46. After this point, the portal can be used to enter and leave the Illusion dungeon, and the Young Scholar can bring you near it.
  5. Defeat the Wizard of TruthSpeak with Scholar Chunghae at pay_d03_i 149, 45, defeat the Wizard of Truth near the southwest pond, and report back.
  6. Complete the reportReturn to Muyeon to finish the quest and receive the main EXP reward and Illusion Stones.

The Gemcutter at pay_d03_i 160, 45 crafts Illusion equipment. The base item normally needs to be equipped and refined to +9, together with Illusion Stones and dungeon materials. Existing refine levels, cards, and enchants on the base item are lost during conversion.

Encounter notes

  • The map includes Resentful Munak, Bongun, Sohee and Soldier variants, Angry Nine Tail, Deranged Adventurer, Wizard of Truth, and Angry Moonlight Flower.
  • Defeating enough Deranged Adventurers can produce an extra Wizard of Truth near the pond.
  • The shared MVP condition in the iRO reference is tied to defeating a large number of Angry Nine Tails across the server. Royalis may use a customized spawn rule.
  • All Royalis-specific drop rates and card modifications take priority over external database values.
